Career
Dr. Brendan Gouin graduated with a degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Rhode Island then went on to receive his DMD from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2009. While at Tufts, Dr. Brendan was a teaching assistant in Oral Maxillofacial Radiology. He participated in dental internships at the Rhode Island Department of Corrections and the Norwood Dental Clinic for Special Needs. He is now a Dentists with Arrowhead Dental in Charlestown. Dr. Brendan is also an Associate Professor of Oral and Maxilliofacial Radiology at Tufts University and a member of the American Dental Association, the Rhode Island Dental Association, and the South County Dental Society.

Community
He participates with Dentists' Climb for a Cause, a group that climbs mountains to raise donations for dental charities. For the past three years, Dr. Brendan has participated in Dentistry From the Heart, hosted by Arrowhead Dental Associates, a day in which volunteers provide free dental care to those in our community who have no insurance or are underinsured. Dr. Brendan and the Arrowhead team have served nearly 400 people and provided over $150,000 worth of free dentistry. 
In his free time Dr. Brendan enjoys being outdoors and is passionate about snowboarding and surfing. He also enjoys free diving, art, playing tennis, trampoline gymnastics, and bicycling.
