Sip With Pride on Rhode Island's First-Ever Pride Beer Trail

Seven breweries, eight special brews, and a statewide celebration of Pride Month

Posted

June already comes with plenty of reasons to celebrate, but Rhode Island's craft breweries just added another. The inaugural Rhode Island Pride Beer Trail is turning brewery hopping into a statewide celebration of community, creativity, and good beer.

Launching this month, the trail connects seven breweries across Rhode Island through a shared mission: creating special Pride-themed beers while supporting LGBTQ+ organizations. Participants can pick up a Pride Beer Trail passport at any participating brewery, collect stamps at each stop, and complete the trail for a chance to win prizes. Better yet, portions of beer sales will benefit Haus of Codec, The Trevor Project, and Youth Pride Inc.

Here's what to look for when planning a Pride-inspired pint crawl:

Apponaug Brewing, Warwick

Aurora NEIPA: Juicy, hazy, and bursting with notes of strawberry, cantaloupe, grapefruit, and tangerine, this New England IPA delivers tropical vacation energy in a glass. Warwick

Lops Brewing, Woonsocket

Flock Together Pale Ale: Bright passion fruit and honey notes make this approachable pale ale an easy summer sipper.

Harmony Belgian Witbier: Citrusy, lightly spiced, and refreshingly crisp, this witbier feels right at home on a sunny June afternoon.

Moniker Brewery, Providence

Torteweizen Berliner-Weisse: Tart, zesty, and highly refreshing, this sour wheat beer offers lemony brightness with a dry finish that keeps drinkers coming back for another sip.

Origin Beer Project, Providence

Out Loud Rice Lager with Lavender: Light-bodied and elegant, this floral lager balances crisp refreshment with subtle lavender aromatics for something a little unexpected.

Pivotal Brewing Company, Bristol

Pride and Joy Belgian Style Witbier: Fresh lemon, soft honey notes, and gentle floral character make this sunshine-yellow brew an easy crowd favorite.

Tilted Barn Brewery, Exeter

Welcome West Coast Pale Ale: Pineapple and pine lead the charge in this hop-forward pale ale with a crisp finish and classic West Coast personality.

Trinity Brewhouse, Providence

Pride-berry Blueberry Lager: A fun, fruit-forward lager packed with blueberry flavor and a refreshing finish that's made for summer.
