For Wendy Rodger of North Kingstown, the shoreline is where she starts her work day, foraging during low-tide, seeking oyster shells for her business Backyard Beach Decor. Rodger takes each humble vessel and works her artistry with decoupage and gold leaf paint to create a collection of goods that includes ornaments, magnets, trinket dishes, and more.
