A Sacred Saturday in Scituate

Rewild Your Sanctuary invites women to gather, sip cacao, and honor the wise woman within.

As autumn deepens and the air fills with that unmistakable stillness before winter, something sacred is stirring in North Scituate. On Saturday, October 25, women are invited to gather at Skydog Farm for Rewild Your Sanctuary’s Croning & Cacao Ceremony, a heart-centered event that celebrates the passage into wise womanhood.

Led by Katherine Fotiades, founder of Rewild Your Sanctuary, the ceremony is part of her beloved Red Tent series, a monthly gathering that honors the natural cycles of women’s lives and the rhythms of the Earth. “The Crone is a rewilding of being, a return to the untamed wisdom that’s been within us all along,” says Fotiades. “Ceremony calls us home to the ancient rhythm still humming in our bones.”

Inside this sacred circle, attendees will sip warm ceremonial cacao and take part in conversation and ritual designed to reclaim the Crone archetype as a symbol of strength, clarity, and authenticity. The gathering draws inspiration from Carl Jung’s vision of the Crone as “the keeper of life’s mysteries,” honoring her as a guide who helps others navigate the deeper layers of self-awareness and truth.

Each woman stepping into this new season of life will receive a handcrafted rosemary crown, a fragrant symbol of wisdom and remembrance. The act of crowning is both simple and profound, a way to witness and celebrate transformation within a circle of support.

The Red Tent welcomes all who identify as women and offers a rare chance to slow down, be seen, and reconnect with one’s inner rhythm. Guests are encouraged to bring a favorite mug for cacao, a dish to share, and an open heart ready to receive the season’s teachings. Registration closes at midnight on October 24, allowing time for the cacao to be thoughtfully prepared. For more information or to register, visit RewildYourSanctuary.org
