Called "the nicest cynic you'll ever meet," Alex Giampapa began performing stand-up at the age of 19 and soon became a mainstay in the Boston Comedy Scene. He's shared the stage with legendary comedians such as Bill Burr, Hannibal Buress, and Gary Gulman as well as opening for Adam Devine and Erik Griffin of Workaholics fame. A 2018 selection for both the Big Pine Comedy Festival in Flagstaff, AZ and The Boston Comedy Festival, he's also competed in The World Series of Comedy, was a 3x finalist in The Beantown Comedy Riots, and has been featured in The Salem Comedy Festival, The Motor City Comedy Festival (Detroit, MI) and The Mutiny Radio Comedy Festival (San Francisco, CA)

Alex produces too: after starting The Comedy Zoo @ UMass Amherst in college, Alex went on to create Comedy Party ( with co-producers Ben Quick and Dennis Casey. Comedy Party currently produces 5 popular shows all around the Boston area. Alex has also run numerous benefits, recently raising over 2k for The Michael & Curtis Crocker Scholarship Memorial Fund.

Giampapa's comedy makes him a popular choice as both a host and a closer, with a classically written jokes coupled with a young and fresh perspective. Described as "unique but relateable", Alex's edgy yet upbeat demeanor has made him a favorite of audiences aged 0-99.

Alex also creates content: he wrote and directed Entry Level, a sketch featured on Funny or Die's front page. He's also one of the co-hosts of the popular Cantankerous Podcast with Danny Kelly and Brian Glowacki. Giampapa regularly posts on Twitter and Instagram under the handle Giamdaddy.

As a writer, he was also the long-time author of a comedy blog, The G-Spot and has written various web series and screenplays including The Lemonade Stand & Blunt Cruise. While In Los Angeles, Alex wrote and performed Bane of the Party, a sketch for Brova Comedy.
