If you love this unique breakfast-lunch combo on a lazy Sunday morning, look no further than your backyard for some great, interesting and inexpensive brunch venues that are perfect whether you have kids, want a unique dining experience, or just simply want to eat as many pancakes, eggs and sausages as you possibly can in one sitting.

For the Hungry Man (or Woman)

If you’re hungry for a great deal, the best bet for you is a buffet-style brunch. A great option right in Middletown is Aquidneck Restaurant & Pizzeria’s Brunch Package. For only $20 a person, feast on all of your favorites, including scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, assorted sandwiches, fresh fruit and many more classic options. With a deal like this, you’ll be sure to leave happy and full.

If you have a big family or want to do a brunch party for an awesome price, try Jacky’s Galaxie. This Bristol sushi bar not only specializes in Asian cuisine but also provides great buffets for all occasions and tastes. For $15.95, you can indulge in their array of scrambled eggs, French toast, home fries, chicken dishes and more.

For the Whole Family

Looking for that perfect Sunday brunch but don’t know where to bring your kids so that you’ll both enjoy it? Try the fun and friendly Green Eggs in Bristol. This family destination not only has a whimsical, Dr. Sues-inspired theme that kids go crazy over, but also all of their favorite brunch options including “Serious Yummies” (pancakes and French toast with any toppings they want), and a create-your-own omelet option for mom and dad.

If you're looking for something more upscale that will still be a great fit for the whole family, check out Eleven Forty Nine. This popular Seekonk restaurant offers a Sunday brunch that is free for kids 5 and under, perfect for your little eaters who just want to pick at mom and dad’s plates. They offer delicious breakfast options like omelet, pastry and seasonal fruit stations. They also have lunch choices including soups, salads and a carving station.

For the Locavore

If you prefer your ingredients fresh and local, The Sunnyside in Warren is another brunch hot spot. This quaint little waterfront restaurant has beautiful décor, a homey feel and uses delicious local ingredients to create distinctive brunch dishes. As one of the only restaurants in the area serving wood-grilled food at breakfast, they offer unique plates such as their Wood Grilled Blackbird Farm Flank Steak and Eggs. For another pleasant view, head to The Boat House Restaurant in Tiverton, and look out onto the Sakonnet River and while selecting from diverse choices like Portuguese Sweet Bread French Toast and the Sakonnet Sunrise (two eggs any style, French toast, and Applewood smoked bacon).

If you’re looking to go a bit further afield to take in the scenery, try Black Bass Grille in South Dartmouth. For another unique twist on brunch, head to DeWolf Tavern in Bristol for their specialty “Breakfast Naan Pizzas.” Choose from a broad selection like the Southwest Pizza which is made with ingredients like scrambled eggs, cheddar, red pepper, house made pico de gallo, avocado and bacon.
