Join the Providence Art Club to celebrate new exhibitions with a celebratory reception on Sunday, June 18 from 2-4pm. This event is free and open to all, feel free to bring friends.
On view in Maxwell Mays and Mary Castelnovo Galleries, the Club will present the Edward Mitchell Bannister National Exhibition: Celebrating BIPOC Artists. This show will feature 65 artworks selected from a pool of national applications by Brooklyn-based gallerist and curator Krista Scenna. $6,000 in prizes will be awarded.
On view in Dodge House Gallery, PAC Exhibiting Artist Member and renowned photographer and photographic educator Ron Rosenstock will be the subject of a solo exhibition. Ron studied with Minor White and was a longtime professor at Clark University in Worcester.
Light refreshments will be served and many of the artists will be on hand. Join us to celebrate! These exhibitions will continue through July 14. Typical gallery hours are Sundays - Fridays from 12-4pm.
The Providence Art Club is located at 11 Thomas Street on the East Side of Providence. Ample street parking is available nearby on Benefit Street and North Main Street. The Club is just a five minute walk from both Providence Amtrak Station and Kennedy Plaza Bus Terminal.
