To celebrate 40 years in South Kingstown, Village Cooperative Nursery School will be holding it's first annual South County Soirée on May 17th. The Soirée will take place at the Sons of Liberty Distillery in South Kingston and will serve as the official launch of their Summer Seasonal Hop Flavored Whiskey.
So what is the Soirée you ask? Village Cooperative Nursery School is partnering with local businesses and promises a night full of performances, food, and fun. First and foremost is the cash bar, courtesy of Bartending by Dennis. Adding to the palate is an array of great local seafood from Matunuck Oyster Bar and East Beach Blondes Oysters, which is included with admission. While you sip on whiskey and slurp some oysters, enjoy music from bands with hometown roots including Audio Revival and James and the Giants.
The event is 21+, with tickets available to the general public for $25. All proceeds from the Soirée benefit the Village Cooperative Nursery School, a 501c3 non-profit celebrating forty years operating as a volunteer-run, community-oriented preschool.
