As Beehive Handmade's 25th anniversary nears, Sandra Bonazoli and Jim Dowd, the husband-and-wife duo behind this delightful studio and retail shop, are preparing for a celebration that reflects their passion and dedication to handcrafted heirloom quality metalwork and ceramics. The milestone event, scheduled for May 18, will bring together loyal customers, community members, and fans of Beehive's thoughtful designs.

Located on Water Street in Warren, this Rhody Gem alumni occupies a sunlit, converted century-old garage, brimming with inspiration. Over the past two decades, Bonazoli and Dowd have developed a unique aesthetic that combines elegance with a modern, folkloric touch, garnering features in publications like Better Homes and Gardens and O, The Oprah Magazine. Their signature metalwork is produced in small batches right in their studio, while Peruvian artisans meticulously craft their ceramics to match the couple's precise designs.

Plans for the milestone celebration include a store-wide sale and raffle of classic Beehive products, along with a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the creative process during a studio tour. Snacks, bubbly drinks, and conversations with Bonazoli and Dowd will enhance the festive mood as they share their journey from operating out of Fall River mill building to their current digs on Water Street.

"We couldn't have done it all these years without you, and we're forever grateful," Bonazoli shares. "Jim and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts and wish you the very best in all your endeavors." Join the celebration on May 18 from 11am-5 pm. Beehive Handmade, 332 Water Street, Warren.
