The Friends of the East Providence Public Library will hold a Spring Book Sale on Fri. & Sat., April 28 & 29, 2023 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free. Thousands of books will be available. Hard and soft cover books are $1, children’s 50¢, pocket-sized paperbacks are 50¢ each and CDs, DVDs and audio books are $1. Books are sorted in more than 50 categories and are easily accessible on display cases; novels are in order by author’s last name. On sale are biographies, novels, vintage, recently released, collectibles and books on business, sports, cooking, gardening, history, science, health, art and more, as well as sheet music, comics and puzzles. A wide selection of collectible books is available in the Collectors’ Corner. Sale continues through Sunday. Pay by cash or check only.
