Rhody Gem: June 2019

Posted

What it is:

A carefully curated home decor and gift shop with colorful, eclectic items ranging from hand-painted Mackenzie-Childs ceramics to storied antiques. The shop is owned and run by Todd Lattimore, a seasoned tradesman who decided to close his little treasure trove in Massachusetts and reopen in Rhode Island about a year-and-a-half ago.

Where to find it:

The store is located beside the Jolly Roger Deli on the corner of Power and South Main Streets. Be careful, though! The entrance can be elusive. Look for Found’s white, funky decal in the storefront window.

What makes it a Rhody Gem?

“I am the store of everything you don’t need...but I’m the store of everything you want,” says Todd. This store is a gem because walking through the door is an aesthetic experience. Everything from ceramics to the gigantic stuffed giraffe in the back of the room makes you feel like you want to stay awhile and maybe even take a nap. The space is small, but you could spend hours looking through all of what Found has to offer.
