Newport History Site Tours : Old Colony House

Built in 1739, this historic site was a center for Rhode Island’s colonial government. Explore its significant history, including the surrounding square, and view a Gilbert Stuart portrait of George Washington.

$15 General admission, $5 Children 5-12, Free for NHS Members, Free for Children under 5.

Purchase of a NHS Walking Tour ticket also includes complimentary admission to the Museum of Newport History as well as a 10% off discount on Museum Shop items on the day of tour.

All NHS Walking Tours begin at the Museum of Newport History (127 Thames St, Newport). Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to tour to check-in your reservation or sign-up, with Museum staff.
