Book Signing with Pamela McColl, author of ‘Twas the Night: The Art and History of the Classic Christmas Poem’

Twas The Night Before Christmas was first read aloud on December 24, 1822 by Clement Clarke Moore (New York, NY., 1779- Newport, RI., 1863). The enchanting poem has earned the designation as being the most often recited, most published and most collected work in the library of English literature. This holiday season marks the 200th anniversary of the poem’s creation.

Meet author/historian/collector Pamela McColl who is an authority on the iconic Christmas poem. She will be at the Museum of Newport History at the Brick Market on Saturday November 26th from 1pm-3pm signing copies of her new book Twas the Night: The Art and History of the Classic Christmas Poem which will be available for purchase.
