Now-May 20: Enjoy the Volvo Ocean Race Newport stop-over as Fort Adams hosts a race village where visitors can explore the race boats, get insights into how they’re made, compete in sail-raising grinding competitions, and check out The Globe, a sustainability exhibition about plastic in the seas - all before the race resumes on May 19. 

May 10: Laugh it up at PPAC with Brian Regan, the comedian dubbed as having “the funniest standup alive” by Vanity Fair, as he brings the jokes on-stage for one night of stand-up comedy. 

May 11: Celebrate a stunning night in Wickford as the village lights up for "Harbor Lights," and enjoy live bands throughout the village, horse and carriage rides, face painting, and explore a variety of participating shops and restaurants. 

May 11: Hear singer-songwriter Stelth Ulvang of The Lumineers play The Knickerbocker Music Center, with Y La Bamba and Glenn Kendzia. 

May 11-13: Celebrate spring at the Misquamicut SpringFest, and enjoy an open-air festival of rides, games, food trucks, a car show, plus musical performances from John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band, and much more.

May 12: After ten years, Roz and the Rice Cakes are going out on a high note with their final show ever at the Columbus Theatre. See the trio one last time along with Last Good Tooth and FINE. 

May 12: Grab your sneakers and get your appetite ready for a tasty finish (with everything from tacos to gelato) at the Food Truck 5K and 10K to benefit the Bristol Warren Education Foundation. 

Now-May 27: See the Tony-winning musical Ragtime on-stage at Trinity Rep, a story of American life at the turn of the 20th century. 

Now-May 27: Don't miss your chance to see The Gamm’s last production in Pawtucket before they move to Warwick with Shakespeare's beloved classic, As You Like It, a comedic tale of love and mistaken identity. 

Now- May 27: Stop on by The Artists’ Cooperative Gallery of Westerly as they celebrate 24 years of local art with their 25th Regional Art Show, juried by RISD’s Michael Peery.
