July 4: South County Museum brings a little Rhode Island red to the red, white, and blue holiday during their Rhode Island Red Chick Hatch. Learn about our state bird and enjoy the rest of the Museum while you’re at it! 


July 4: Looking for a party on the Fourth of July? Join Alice Cooper at Foxwoods Resort Casino at 8pm. 

July 5: Wine lovers, gather ‘round at Mill’s Tavern for a tasting of various vino from around the world. 

July 5: Live Bait celebrates with a patriotic theme for their 11th Anniversary Show. Listen to true stories told by real people, and maybe even share one of your own. 

July 7: Join the fun at Foxwoods Resort Casino where they host their Liquid Sundays: Red White & Blue pool party!

Fridays through October 25: Learn about Rhode Island’s Golden Age at Lippitt House Museum through both guided and self-guided tours of the historic East Side landmark. 

Fridays and Saturdays through September 28: For the night owls and party goers, join the fun of Fireside Weekends on the Rooftop where you can dance to hit music with an aerial view of the city from Providence G. 

Through September 1: Get healthy and join MegaRed in transforming Newport into Omega Town from July 3 until September 1. Featuring free nutrition counseling and fun workout activities. 

Through September 30: Summer Winds is coming to New Bedford to celebrate the launch of The Massachusetts Design Art and Technology Institute. Showcasing Patrick Shearn’s large-scale architectural installation reminiscent of an iridescent net that shimmers with the wind.
