Party on St. Patty's Day in Providence:  

March 17: Watch an RI tradition as the Providence Police Pipes and Drums perform their statewide tour with nearly 20 law enforcement professionals, dressed in full St. Patty’s Day regalia. Beginning at 3 pm, this year’s tour stops include Bradley Café in Providence,  the Thirsty Beaver in Smithfield, Whiskey Republic in Providence, Crossroads Pub in Warren, and Judge Roy Bean Saloon in Bristol, and ending at the Dublin Rose in Seekonk, MA.

March 17: Celebrate all day at The Rosendale's St. Patrick's Day Block Party with Irish food, drinks, dancing, and kick off the night with live music by the Togas Brothers Irish Band and Triad. 55 Union Street

March 17: Get wicked festive at The Whiskey Republic starting with live music by Tama Girard that morning, a performance by the Providence Pipes & Drums later that evening, followed by the AC/DC Tribute band Dirty Deeds at 9pm, topped off with music by DJ Dolo. 15 Bridge St.

March 17: Get in the St. Patty's Day spirit at McBride's Pub, opening 8am with a breakfast buffet, followed by live music from "The Exiles" Irish session that afternoon. 161 Wayland Ave. 

March 18: Expect to be rocked – by bagpipes – at The Red Hot Chili Pipers at The Vets. This nine-piece Scottish band, hailed as “AC/DC meets the poet Robert Burns,” plays their signature “bagrock” versions of Scottish classics and classic rock. The Vets Auditorium, One Avenue of the Arts 

Get in the Irish Spirit in South County: 

March 17: Step up your St. Patty's Day at Tapped Apple Winery with Celticity; an all-female Celtic music trio including Sylvie Harris, Megan Sweeney, and Phred Mileski. 37 High St, Westerly

March 17: Get a taste of Ireland at the Mews Tavern with corned beef sliders all day, a corn beef dinner starting at 4pm, green ‘Gansetts, Guinness, Smithwicks, specialty cocktails, and Magners Cider. 456 Main Street, Wakefield

March 17: Watch the 4th Annual Shortest St. Patrick's Day Parade at Ocean Mist with fun costumes, floats, and live music from the The Ocean Mistics from 2-5pm, followed by Steve Smith and the Nakeds at 6pm. 895 Matunuck Beach Rd., Matunuck; Parade begins at 5pm.

March 18: Dive into the St. Patrick's Day festivities on Sunday with the Jamestown St. Patty's Day Splash. Jump into Narragansett Bay at East Ferry, Jamestown, followed by live music, fire pits, paddle board races, and a food truck. East Ferry Landing, Conanicus Ave., Jamestown; Plunge begins at 10am. 


St. Patty's Parading in Newport: 

March 16: Celebrate the eve of St. Patrick's Day at Midtown Oyster Bar with Irish fare like corned beef sandwiches, Newport Storm locally brewed beer, live music from Newport's Ancient Order of Hibernian's Mens Singers and Pipes & Drums, and more at this family friendly event. 345 Thames Street

March 17: Watch the 62nd Annual Newport Saint Patrick's Day Parade and enjoy two festive hours getting in the Irish sprit with pipe bands, marching bands, fife & drum corps, clown units, local state police and fire units, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and much more festive St. Patty's Day fun. Beginning 11am at Newport City Hall 

March 17: Enjoy live entertainment at Dockside's St. Patrick's Day Parade Party on Waites Wharf with music all day by Never in Vegas, 7 Day Weekend, and a variety of live DJ's. 1 Waites Wharf 

March 17: Celebrate Saint Patrick's Day at the Newport Blues Cafe with an all-day line-up sure to (sham)rock your socks off, including Felix Brown, Dirty Deeds AC/DC Experience, Fast Times 80's Music, and Darik and the Funbags! 286 Thames Street

March 16: Laugh it up on St. Patty's Day Eve with the comedic murder mystery dinner theater, "Murder At The Irish Wake!" at Dewolf Tavern, while enjoying a four course meal. 259 Thames St., Bristol
