About Alex Thomas - Cocktail Guru
Alex Thomas is an accomplished bartender working at two of Boston’s strongest bar programs. He has held the position of Lead Bartender and Trainer at Barcelona Wine Bar in the South End for seven years and has recently joined the team at Bully Boy Distillery’s tasting room in Roxbury. His hospitality experience ranges over nine years and has included the advancement of several esteemed bar programs, multiple location openings, cocktail competitions, menu creation, and both in-person and virtual cocktail classes. His bartending passion lies in cocktail development and discovering inventive ways to use fresh, seasonal ingredients. Beyond his hospitality career, Alex is also a classically trained pianist and currently holds the position of Visiting Lecturer in Piano at Westfield State University.
