The book club at Wingate Residences on the East Side will discuss “The Unbearable Lightness of Being” by Milan Kundera on Tuesday, May 29 at 2 p.m. The novel follows a group of intellects and artists in Czechoslovakia living through the Soviet Union’s invasion of the country.
The Wingate book club launched 10 years ago and remains one of the community’s most popular programs. Since its inception, the club has read more than 120 books. The book club typically meets the fourth Monday of each month, excluding holidays, and is free and open to the public. Space is limited. For more information or to RSVP, call 401-275-0682.
