New Urban Arts Benefit Show

The Bucket Brewery Friday Night Sound Check
Head to Pawtucket to catch Bucket Brewery’s monthly Sound Check. This month, see roots rockers The ‘Mericans. The cost of admission gets you a four beer sample tickets and entry into raffles. Bringing a non-perishable food item to be donated to the Rhode Island Community Food Bank gets you an extra beer ticket.

Save the Bay Seal Cruise

Wild Sun at The Knickerbocker Cafe
Wild Sun brings its brand of psychedelic-tinged 90s rock to the Knickerbocker. Back in January So Rhode Island we called them a band that will “restore [your] faith in the local scene. Having Phish and Pavement producer work on their debut record, we’d like to amend that to read “a band you should see now before they hit the big time”. Joining them will be Sirs and Madams from Brooklyn.

Mews Tavern Gear ‘n Beer
Think you’ve got your 5k locked down? Why not up the ante to a 6.9k? Mews Tavern has been running this race to benefit Easter Seals RI for 16 years now, adding the extra 1.9k last November. The cost of entry will get you food and a free pint (if you pick up your racing bib on Saturday) plus the satisfaction of helping a good cause and running a solid race. Online registration and team sign ups are due by Friday, but in-person signups on Saturday and Sunday can be done at Mews Tavern.
