The Friends of the East Providence Public Library will hold a Fall Book Sale on Fri. & Sat., October 25 & 26 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free. Thousands of books will be available. Hard and soft cover books are $1, children’s 50¢, pocket-sized paperbacks are 50¢ each or 3 for $1 and CDs, DVDs and audio books are $1. Books are sorted in more than 50 categories and are easily accessible on display cases; novels are in order by author’s last name. On sale are biographies, novels, vintage, collectibles and books on business, sports, cooking, gardening, history, science, health, art and more, as well as sheet music, comics and puzzles. A wide selection of collectible books are available in the Collectors’ Corner. Proceeds benefit programs and concerts at East Providence Public Library. Call 401-434-2453 for info.
