Lives in Charlestown

Career
Born in Westerly in 1982, Thomas has lived in Charlestown his entire life. He graduated from Chariho High School in 2000 and attended CCRI. He purchased Fenner Septic Service in May of 2002 with his father. The business has steadily increased and expanded into new septic system installations and portable restroom rentals. He purchased Westerly Sanitation in January 2012 to expand services and community support throughout Westerly.

Community

Tom joined the Charlestown Richmond Volunteer Fire Association in 1996 and was an active member for over 10 years. Through years of dedicated service, he earned the respect of his peers and obtained the rank of Deputy Chief.

Through his company, Tom actively gives back to the community and has donated portable restrooms to multiple agencies including Charlestown Police Department, Hopkinton Police Department, and Chariho Athletic Association.

Family
He is happily married to Kimiko Burdick and they have one son, Trent Michael Burdick, who will be turning 5 in May. “I owe thanks to my wife and my parents who encouraged me so much in life and helped me become the person I am today. Without them none of this would have ever been possible.”
