St. Patrick’s Day is a celebration dedicated to good luck, shamrocks and lots and lots of green. Even though it comes in the middle of the week this year, there are still plenty of things to do to get your pot of gold.

Kick off St. Patrick’s Day with a week-long celebration. For the whole week leading up to the day, there will be Pint Night at The Wharf Pub and other select bars in Newport. On March 14 starting at 11:00 am, watch the 59th annual Newport St Patrick’s Day Parade.  It is guaranteed regardless of the weather. This parade will include pipe bands, marching bands and reenactment units. This will be entertaining for the whole family. More info...
