CORE’s August “Ride for a Reason” Charity Cycle

CORE, a premium boutique fitness studio located in Providence’s Wayland Square, will hold its second “Ride for a Reason” on Thursday, August 22nd to benefit Reservoir Avenue Elementary School in South Providence. “Ride for a Reason” will take place monthly and will benefit an array of local community organizations.

The benefit cycle will be held in the brand new cycling theater, which features 30 custom-designed Stages bikes and spectacular illumination, sound, and projection, created and installed by a team who has worked with many of the leading names in popular music, including Genesis, Paul McCartney, Pink Floyd, Sting, and the Rolling Stones.

In addition to the ride, CORE is holding a school supply drive for Reservoir Avenue Elementary through August 25th. Clients and the public are encourage to drop-off items from the K-5 school’s wish list, which includes:

Clorox wipes

Tissues

Folders

Single subject notebooks

Dry erase markers

Pencils

Crayons

Colored pencils

Erasers

Glue sticks
