Classic Neighborhood Dining at Red Stripe

Posted

Red Stripe really gets neighborhood dining. Cozy yet chic, the bistro made its triumphant debut in 2005 on the East Side of Providence. With a focus on refined comfort food in a relaxed setting, the restaurant was an instant hit. Three years ago, a second location was added on East Greenwich’s dynamic Main Street. Featuring the same remarkable menu, affordable prices and impeccable service as the city original, Red Stripe East Greenwich is taking neighborhood dining to a new level in the historic downtown area.

The diverse menu features dishes typically found in a traditional French brasserie such as steak frites, moules (mussels) and short rib Bourguignon. American favorites include hand-packed burgers, grilled cheese sandwiches, grilled seafood and housemade pasta. Everything is made from scratch at Red Stripe so you know you’re getting fresh, quality
food with every visit.

A Bar That Buzzes

In true brasserie style, the family-friendly restaurant is a convivial spot where the bar is located right in the middle of the restaurant, creating an energetic buzz that permeates the space. Known for their handcrafted and in-season cocktails, the lively bar and nearby high tops offers guests the happiest of hours with their daily half-priced appetizers from 3-6pm and 9-close. Another amazing deal is the Thursday Burger & Beer night, where guests are treated to a gourmet meal plus a Red Stripe beer or glass of wine.
