Originally, Joan says, All That Matters was “a little yoga studio with a big vision.” Today it’s the largest non-residential yoga and holistic center in New England. Nearing its 20th anniversary, All That Matters offers 60 weekly yoga and meditation classes plus workshops and professional training, a retail store, and health care including acupuncture, chiropractic and massage. Her cornerstone program, 40 Day Revolution, involves students committing to 40 days of yoga, meditation and eating for vitality, with dramatic improvements to their energy levels and quality of life. Joan is currently writing a book about the three essential practices of living well as a community-based approach to vibrant health.

Joan’s expertise as a strategic consultant empowers other teachers, practitioners, small businesses and yoga studios to succeed. She also shares her expertise on television, radio and national conferences. She received the Mentor of the Year award from the Southern Rhode Island Chamber, and has been an involved member of the vibrant South Kingstown business community for 20 years. The mother of five “healthy, brilliant, cool children” with husband David, Joan believes that inner peace leads to world peace - and that is all that really matters.
