Get out there and help clean up for Earth Day

Earth Day is Sunday, and if you feel the urge to get involved in something green, we've got a few suggestions.

What: No Time to Waste at Providence Children’s Museum. Come celebrate Earth Day at the Children’s Museum with a lighthearted look into the three R’s of protecting the environment.

Where: Providence Children’s Museum, 100 South street, Providence

When: 20 minute shows on April 21 at 10:30am, 11:30am, 12:15pm and 1:15pm

What: Earth Day Clean-Up

Where: Meet at Community Hall, 933 Anthony Road, Portsmouth

When: April 21 from 9am – 12pm

What: Clean-Up East Matunuck With the Oyster Bar. Volunteers will spread to the pond, the marsh, roadside areas, and the beach. Bring your gloves.

Where: Meet at Matunuck Oyter Bar, 629 Succotash Road, Wakefield

When: April 22, 9-12 pm. Volunteers will be invited to lunch after the event.

What: Daffodil Days at Blithewold. Bounteous fields of beautiful daffodils to mark the beginnings of spring.

Where: Blithewood Mansion, 101 Ferry Road, Bristol

When: April 22, 10am – 5pm

How: Adults $11; AAA members $10; Seniors/military/students $9; Youth 6 to 17 $3; free for children 5 and under

What: Save the Bay Earth Day Clean-Up in Memory of Stephen Daylor

Where: Meet at Blue Beach at Quonset, North Kingstown

When: April 22, 1pm – 3pm

Where: On Hawkins Street, Providence
