Now-December 30: Christmas at Linden Place is as detailed and visually stunning as the historic home itself: each room is festooned in garland, wreaths, lights, and colorful ornamentation of red, green, and gold. Visitors can step back in time to the holiday celebrations of the past, complete with various family-friendly events throughout the month.
December 20: The Barrington Public Library screens Scrooged, a modern take on the favorite Christmas tale, A Christmas Carol. Cozy into the Salem Family Auditorium for a comedic retelling that follows a successful TV executive visited by a series of ghosts that force him to reevaluate his life.
December 20: Have the chance to experience celtic magic when Brian O’Donovan returns to The VETS with a live rendition of “A Christmas Celtic Sojourn." Irish dancers will twirl and leap their way across the stage as folk songs are called out by acclaimed artists.
December 21-23: Watch Festive Ballet Providence take the stage at the Providence Performing Arts Center, with a wonderfully extravagant and magical production of the classic holiday show, “The Nutcracker.” This family friendly show follows a young girl named Clara as she dreams up the story of a lifetime.
December 22: Cowboy and Lady return to The Pump House Music Works for a Christmas show filled with country-blues. The venue will be decked out with twinkle lights and festive decorations, an atmosphere that will add to the already enchanting performance!
December 23: A Magical Cirque Christmas brings a little bit of everything stunning to The VETS. Enjoy angelic renditions of Christmas carols, actors dressed in dazzling costumes, and gravity-defying circus acts. Featuring the best in movement, music, and magic, everything you love about a Cirque show infused with Christmas spirit.
