Eco-Depot/Dehumidifier Turn In

Posted by EcoDepot

Do you have an old dehumidifier collecting dust? National Grid, in collaboration with Resource Recovery, is offering National Grid customers a $30 rebate for turning in a dehumidifier for recycling on September 14 at the Tiverton Department of Public Works!

Residents who participate will receive a $30 recycling incentive rebate, a $30 mail-in rebate towards a new energy-efficient dehumidifier and National Grid will cover the cost of disposal. Residents dropping off dehumidifiers must have ID for proof of residency and must complete a rebate form to receive the money. Turn-in is limited to 2 units per Rhode Island household.

This special event coincides with Resource Recovery’s Eco-Depot collection. While appointments are required for Eco-Depot they are NOT required for the turn-in event.
