Safely dispose of your household hazardous waste (anything labeled with a skull and crossbones, or words like 'toxic', 'poison', 'flammable', 'combustible', etc.) on Saturday, April 27 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Tiverton Department of Public Works located at 50 Industrial Way in Tiverton. During the collection, Resource Recovery will also offer shredding services. This special event is available free of charge to Rhode Island residents only. To help reduce time spent in line, appointments should be made in advance for household hazard waste collection only. Appointments are not required for shredding.
