CMW’s popular Sonata Series showcases our resident musicians and special guests in brilliant duo performances, set amidst the splendor of the RISD Museum’s Grand Gallery. Join us October 18 for Prokofiev’s second violin sonata — an intoxicating blend of tender lyricism and macabre virtuosity — and Chopin’s cello sonata, a beloved masterpiece from the composer’s final days. Guest pianist Andrei Baumann joins CMW musicians Luke Fatora, violin, and Adrienne Taylor, cello, for this one-night only performance.
