The beloved, one-of-a-kind restaurant has been featured in The New York Times, Bon Appetit, Rachael Ray’s Tasty Travel and The Providence and Rhode Island Chef’s Table. A recipient of Trip Advisor’s Certificate of Excellence, the restaurant is a must for tourists. A visit to CAV, be it for a relaxing brunch, a quick lunch or a memorable dinner, is always an enchanted experience.

An Artful Experience
Part restaurant, part gallery, CAV offers a dining experience no like other. African and Asian art and antiques adorn the historic mill space in unexpected ways; look closely and you’ll find treasures along the windows, shelves and corners. An oversized vintage red sled dramatically hangs from the rustic beams overhead. The long mahogany bar is a piece of history in itself, salvaged from the oldest bar in 19th century New York.
