StyleWeek has always been about promoting the work of young, emerging designers. SEED: A StyleWeek Student Designer Competition takes that  one step further. On Wednesday, January 30, students from local design schools will debut original garments all created with a specific challenge in mind. Works from the 2012 show were all created with recycled materials. For this year’s challenge, 16 student designers will create looks inspired by the five senses. The winner will receive $500, an installation at Spring/Summer 2014 StyleWeek and representation from StyleWeek PR. SEED will start at 7pm on Wednesday, November 30, at the Providence Biltmore.
