Westerly's Colonial Theater presents its Shakespeare Festival this weekend

Looking for something to do this weekend? No worries, we've got you covered.

Check out the Newport Antiques Show, going on all weekend. Over forty of the finest antique dealers are coming together to showcase some of the best antiques around. Also, the event benefits the Newport Historical Society and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Newport County. Opens at 10am, $12 per person.

The Blessing of the Fleet has been a South County tradition for thirty-five years. This weekend the tradition continues all weekend long, as well as a ten-mile road race and seafood festival. Watch the colorful parade of commercial and recreational vessels that will be launching in Narragansett.

Wind down from a busy week and enjoy dinner at the Lobster and Seafood Grill hosted by the Vanderbilt Grace Hotel. Starts at 6pm; more details here.

Stop by the Shakespeare Festival going on in Westerly this weekend. This festival draws nearly 20,000 people annually to experience outdoor theater. This production of Macbeth will transport you through a timeless tale of ambition’s rise and fall.

The Newport Folk Festival may have sold out quickly, but the kick-off concert featuring Wilco, Blitzen Trapper and Megafaun is happening on Friday night and you have the chance to catch it. Advance tickets are available online as well as at the door. Adams State Park, Newport, 5pm. Ticket info here.

The 36th Annual Save The Bay Swim is happening this weekend in Jamestown. The Swim is 1.7 miles long and begins at the Naval Station and ends in Jamestown. Pledge dollars raised by swimmers help support Save the Bay advocacy, education, and habitat restoration.

Put a new, interesting spin on normal yoga. Try a stand up paddle-boarding yoga class where you can combine two great things: yoga and the beach. $35 including board and life vest, weather permitting.
