Ice Cream... Street-side

Shayna's Place opens up an ice cream window, Wickford rejoices

Posted

Just in time for the summer heat, Shayna’s Place has cut the ribbon on their ice cream window. The family owned and operated café, juice bar and ice cream parlor, Shayna’s Place is named after the owners’ daughter Shayna with Down Syndrome or, as they call it, Up Syndrome, because of her vibrant and inspirational personality. Just a few steps from views of Wickford Cove, the ice cream window has access to all the classic flavors for traditionalists and a few more unique options such as sea salt caramel or campfire s’mores. The window also serves several flavors of frozen yogurt (you can’t go wrong with chocolate peanut butter cup) as well as mango and raspberry sorbet. Step right up to the window and order yourself a few scoops, it’s summer and you deserve it.
